Basic rules of the game
If you have just started playing, you can play by these rules.!
However, in any case, you will need to open the "Player Card" of your Civilization (links in the right panel of the game window).
In the normal case, the goal of the game is to score as many victory points as possible in 20 moves. If someone scores 100 points or more, the turn circle ends with the last player, and if no one scores even more points than the first contender to win, the game ends.
Points can be scored for colonizing planets, building bases and docks, developing technologies, successfully attacking other players' ships, and so on.
Movement and portals:
- Movement speed across the field - 3 cells;
- The speed of the ship when leaving the reserve (near headquarters or dock) - 1 cell;
- Number of ships moved (logistics) - 3 ships per turn (cargo ships use 1 logistics point at all);
- Cells of planets and portals do not deal with ships;
- The passage of ships through portals is associated with the risk of losing these ships (number on the die, indicated on the card);
- At the exit in the second portal, the movement of the ship ends;
Colonization:
- Cannot colonize more than 2 planets per turn;
- For colonization, you need a number of ships equal to the level of the planet, these ships must be located around the planet;
- The success of colonization and its risk is determined by the civilization card;
- To reclaim an alien planet, you need an additional ship in orbit;
- Ships after participating in the colonization do not move and do not attack;
- If there are alien ships around the planet, you need to ask permission for colonization from the one whose ships they are;
- The same ship cannot colonize more than 1 planet;
- At the beginning of the game, there is only the headquarters planet, it starts from it, then, in addition to the usual colonies, you can build docks and bases;
Conflicts:
- You can attack other ships within a radius of 1 cell around your ship;
- Combat consists of one ship's attack number and the other's defense number (2 dice);
- The attack is successful only if the number exceeds the number of defense;
- The same ship cannot attack more than 1 time;
- ships can have plus or minus attack and defense bonuses;
Strengthening your capabilities:
- Cruisers are used for support in battles and during colonization / capture (link in the right panel);
- Technologies developed by civilizations significantly change the course of the game;
- The conditions for acquiring technologies are described in the civilization card and in the "Technologies" section (link in the right panel);
- Some Civilizations have a cargo fleet, passing 4 sectors of the field and returning to the headquarters, each ship is worth 5 points;
