Second Interstellar War

875 year before creation of the UC.

Having lost its ambitious intentions, the Monarchy received a new opportunity to strengthen its intergalactic positions. In one star cluster, she found two planets at once, densely populated by two technically undeveloped civilizations. Having easily established control over the technically illiterate natives, the Grays after a while considered it expedient to put them at the service of their interests in space.

776 - 704 years before creation of the UC.

Using the labor of many slaves, the Monarchy could reach heights that were unattainable due to the small number of its own population. However, she faced significant difficulties in managing the growing colonies. The secret service of the royal security increasingly reported manifestations of dissatisfaction with the authorities among the slave settlements. The creatures called the Green Nation formed underground resistance cells, and the people of the Yellow Nation were completely convicted of a daring insult to the Royal Majesty. The repressive measures taken led to a much larger outcry - the Greens and Yellows hijacked spaceships, sacked bases and stations, and looted convoys of cargo ships. As in the long-standing events with the Black Civilization, the situation is out of control.

Tired of fighting the rebellious slaves, the Gray Monarchy recognized the Yellows and Greens' rights to self-determination and granted them sovereignty by expelling them from their main star systems. Having gained independence, the new conquerors of space could not create united states and broke up into many clans, which still managed to maintain peaceful relations. The Red Empire called them Anarchy in disgust, and the name stuck with the Yellows and Greens. Later, the Blue Federation to some extent was able to have a positive influence on the Green Anarchy and instill in it some of the values of civilization.  Yellow Anarchy has remained true to the reputation of space savages who despise intergalactic laws.

Almost simultaneously, the Empire and the Federation discovered two other civilizations in the same small galaxy, known as Orange and Purple. These space states had antipathy for each other and were irreconcilable in their views and beliefs. The militant Orange civilization appealed to the Red Empire, while the Federation sympathized with the politically moderate Violet.

Increasingly supporting friendly regimes, the Empire and the Federation suddenly found themselves embroiled in a conflict between the Oranges and the Purples. At first, powerful patrons supplied their friends with technology and resources, then they began to send instructors to help the warring sides, then detachments of space marines, until, finally, they officially declared war on each other. Formed two opposing camps - Red-Orange and Blue-Violet coalition.

Accustomed to strict discipline, the troops of the Imperial Coalition began to prevail over the inhabitants of the Blue-Violet Camp, accustomed to an easy existence. However, the Green Anarchy came to the aid of the Federation, appreciating the good attitude of the Blues. Infiltrating and causing disturbances behind Imperial lines in small detachments, the Green anarchists disrupted the Red-Orange offensives and created constant distractions for them, providing an opportunity for respite for the Blue-Violet.

The actions of the former slaves of the Monarchy irritated the Gray King, as he sympathized with the Empire. The monarchy began to explicitly support the Red-Orange Coalition, which, in turn, outraged the White Republic, which approved of the views of the Blue Federation. So almost all civilizations plunged into the abyss of the Second Interstellar War.

289 year before creation of the UC.

Dark times have come for all civilized worlds. All were weakened by the protracted conflict, many star systems were in devastation and desolation. Against this background, the once inconspicuous Yellow Anarchy began to rise. Hordes of Anarchy plundered abandoned planets, ransacked unguarded intergalactic highways, collected tribute from poorly functioning star systems.

272 year before creation of the UC.

A new disaster has befallen the civilized community. From the depths of space, after an absence of almost two thousand years, the returned Black Strangers began to attack all worlds. Having become more developed and organized, they nevertheless retained their desire for destruction and called their state formation Black Chaos. The situation was critical, the history of civilized worlds was under the threat of centuries of oblivion.
